Rockland Lake Swan's

This winter has been crazy.  It feels like one minute its 32 degrees snowing and the next its 63 degrees and sunny. Well anyways after that beautiful friday we had a couple of weeks ago i went to a lake by my house to take some photographs. Its like the weather was like night and day. The friday it was so warm and the next day, the Saturday i choose to go its 32 degrees freezing and extremely windy.  I found some swans walking on the lake so i decided to photograph them.

The swans looked confused as i was with this crazy weather

Editing Assignment #1

To start this semester it was very hard to decide of what to photograph because all it seemed to do was snow and after photographing snow scenes for a couple months it starts to get old.  To start off my editing assignment I continued from where I left off in intro to digital photography. I kept photographing landscapes.  Below are some of my photos

The next theme I chose was of others. Here is where I photographed my friends. I have never really photographed people before so I thought i would give it a try.   I enjoyed photographing outdoors in the snow

Obsessions

To start of the spring semester the first project of my Intermediate Photography class was obsessions.  For this project our instructions were to photograph the same subject 100 times. No matter how many times you photograph a subject, each image will be different in its own way.
For this project i choose to photograph a playground near my house. We just had a huge snow storm, and the park was covered in snow. I photographed the slide 100 times.  When photogrpahing the slide i would change my angle, height and view.

Below are my five best of the obessions assignment.

The park was photographed at all different angles

For as long as I can remember i have always enjoyed taking pictures with my digital camera.  Weather it be a family occasion, a vacation or just a day hanging out i have been interested in taking pictures. I like to  take photographs so i can create visual memories of places i have visited.  To start off my blog I am going to share with you some of my favorite pictures I have taken.

Above is a picture of a red eyed tree frog. This picture was taken this summer at the swamps in the rainforest of La Selva in Costa Rica. Out of all my Photos this is my favorite.
Above are two photos of my dog Cody
